BIOGRAPHY
Since releasing his debut CD 2 years ago,
Joe Hellriegel has been sharing his new recording across the country.
His music is being used on Catholic radio nationwide and with each concert
the demand for his anointed, heartfelt music contirues to grow.
It all started twelve years ago when Joe began writing music for God.
Inspired by a Marian prayer group, he stepped in to lead them in worship
music. Dusting off his guitars from teenage years, Joe began to realize
a gift of song writing and music ministry.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida (a true native), Joe became involved
in Respect Life work by joining the Homestead Council Knights of Columbus'
Run for Life group, which raises money
and spiritual support for Florida homes for unwed mothers.
The Run for Life entails a 350 mile lay race (a 9-day Novena) which
is started in Homestead and ends in St. Augustine, Florida. This small
group of dedicated runners inspired he state's Knights of Columbus officials
to form the Florida KC harities, which has raised as much as $100,000.00
annually for these homes.
Joe's pro-life masterpiece, "Beneath Your Heart" has been
performed along this "run route" and is a favorite of many
parishes. It awakens the heart and consciousness to the presence of
the unborn. This ministry continues to draw awareness for the need to
support unwed mothers.
Joe has also been involved in Divine Mercy Celebration musicals. He
has performed at conferences, written music for Randall Bain Dance Group
and has collaborated with Kirk Derman. He performs at youth retreats
& Catholic conferences as well.
Joe Hellriegel's Debut CD, "Do Whatever He Tells You", is
an inspired collection of 9 original songs. Arranged and produced by
Catholic music veteran Joe Hand, the message and music are married perfectly
( Jean Ann Hand also makes a guest appearance, as well as Rent-a-Monk).
From pew rockin' praise, to peaceful meditation, "Do Whatever He
Tells You" echoes the scriptures on the tremendous faith of our
Lady.
The Lord has given Joe an incredible gift. Joe's life truly is faith
in action. His dedication to the unborn is extraordinary. His music
